Hi, I'm Madison
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can show up exactly as they are — without judgment, without pressure, and without pretending to have it all figured out.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-worth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when you feel truly seen and heard.
Whether you're working through something specific or just feel like something is "off," therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
Warm
Creating a space that feels like a conversation, not a clinical assessment.
Collaborative
We work together. You're the expert on your own life.
Non-Judgmental
No labels, no assumptions. Just genuine support.
Self-Care Is Not Selfish
Four pillars to come back to, whenever you need them.
Rest Without Guilt
Your nervous system needs time to recover. Rest is productive. It's how we regulate and restore.
Tend to Your Body
Sleep, movement, nourishment. These are the foundation of mental health, not an afterthought.
Set Boundaries
Saying no to what drains you is saying yes to yourself. Boundaries are an act of self-respect.
Seek Support
Asking for help is one of the bravest things you can do. You don't have to carry it alone.
Areas of Focus
Every journey is unique. Here are some of the areas I support my clients through.
Anxiety
Learning to quiet the noise, manage overwhelming thoughts, and find calm in the chaos.
Depression
Working through heaviness, low motivation, and disconnection to rediscover hope and energy.
Relationships
Navigating communication, attachment patterns, and building healthier connections with others.
Life Transitions
Moving, career changes, loss, new chapters — finding your footing when everything shifts.
Self-Worth
Challenging the inner critic, building self-compassion, and learning to trust yourself again.
Personal Growth
Exploring who you are, what you want, and how to live more authentically and intentionally.
Therapeutic Approaches
I draw from several evidence-based modalities, tailored to what you need most.
CBT
Identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. We work on practical tools you can use between sessions to shift your thinking and break cycles.
Anxiety • Depression • Self-WorthPerson-Centred
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to create a genuine, empathetic space where you feel safe enough to explore at your own pace — without being led or judged.
All Areas • Foundation of My PracticeNarrative
The stories we tell ourselves shape how we see the world. Together, we'll explore the narratives driving your experience and rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.
Identity • Life Transitions • GrowthSolution-Focused
Rather than dwelling on the problem, we focus on where you want to go. Building on your existing strengths and envisioning the change you want to create in your life.
Goal-Oriented • Relationships • TransitionsTrauma-Informed
Everything I do is rooted in an understanding of how trauma affects the mind and body. Safety, trust, and empowerment are always at the centre of our work together.
Underlying Framework • Safety FirstDBT
DBT blends cognitive-behavioural techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies. It builds skills in distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and present-moment awareness.
Emotional Regulation • Distress ToleranceWhat to Expect
Your first session is all about connection. There's no pressure to dive deep right away — we move at whatever pace feels right for you.
50-Minute Sessions
Enough time to go deeper without feeling overwhelming. Sessions are structured but flexible — this is your time.
Warm & Conversational
This isn't a clinical Q&A. Think of it as a real conversation where you feel genuinely listened to and understood.
Completely Confidential
Everything you share stays between us. Confidentiality is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
No Homework (Unless You Want It)
Some clients love tools to practice between sessions, others prefer to let things settle. We do what works for you.

Absolutely. Many of my clients are coming to therapy for the first time. It's completely normal to feel nervous. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe and supported from the very first session. There's no wrong way to start.
That's exactly what the free 15-minute consultation is for. We'll have a brief conversation so you can get a sense of my style and approach. The right therapeutic relationship is built on trust and comfort — and that starts from the very first interaction.
