Your Therapist, Your Ally
Getting to know the person behind the practice.
Hi, I’m Madison
Becoming a psychotherapist wasn’t just a career choice for me — it was the natural result of a lifelong curiosity about people, connection, and what makes us who we are. I believe deeply that every person carries within them an innate capacity for growth, and that the right therapeutic relationship can help unlock that potential.
I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices while cultivating the warmth and presence that I believe are essential to effective therapy. My training spans a range of modalities — from cognitive-behavioural therapy to person-centred and narrative approaches — giving me a flexible toolkit that I tailor to each unique individual I work with.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me exploring the trails around Simcoe County with my dog, losing myself in a good book, or connecting with community. I believe that therapists are human too, and that showing up authentically is one of the most important things I can do for the people I work with.

What I Believe
Therapy is not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about creating space to understand yourself more fully, to sit with the uncomfortable truths, and to discover that growth often lives on the other side of vulnerability.
The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change. — Carl Rogers
I approach every session with genuine curiosity and without judgment. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is the most powerful agent of change — when you feel truly seen and heard, transformation becomes possible. My role isn’t to give you answers but to help you find your own.
My Core Values
Authenticity guides everything I do. I show up as a real person, not a blank screen. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are — not where you think you should be. I trust in your capacity to grow, even when you can’t see it yet. And I hold space with both gentleness and honesty, because real progress requires both comfort and challenge.
Beyond the Office
I’m a proud Simcoe County local, and the natural beauty of this area genuinely grounds me. When I’m not in session, I spend my time hiking the trails around Orillia, exploring local coffee shops, or curled up with my dog and a good novel.
I believe in practicing what I preach when it comes to self-care, mental health, and showing up as a whole person. I also deeply value community connection and am passionate about making mental health support accessible and destigmatized in our region.
